Editors are a British non mainstream shake/post-punk recovery band from Birmingham, England, framed by Tom Smith (vocals, guitar, consoles), Russell Leetch (bass) Ed Lay (drums) and Chris Urbanowicz (guitar) who met while learning at Staffordshire University, in Stafford, England, United Kingdom during 2002. After Chris’ flight in 2012 , Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams joined the band for their live gigs and took part in the account of the fourth collection.

The band were initially known as (The) Pride, before they switched their line-up and wound up known as Snowfield, turning into a famous unsigned band. They stayed with this name until they marked with Kitchenware Records in September 2004.
